To work with air boosters and achieve the highest efficiency at purification, each HEPA composite filter is built with a high-quality pre-filter layer, a fine absorption layer, an activated carbon filter, and a HEPA filter. The HEPA composite filters are capable of removing large particles like dust, as well as harmful ultrafine particles.
• Pre-filter Layer
Made of nonwoven cotton, the pre-filter layer has good air-permeability and is capable of removing large particles of dust.
• Fine Absorption Layer
This layer is made of high-quality tightly-woven materials and is capable of removing ultrafine particles.
• Activated Carbon Filter
This layer is made of porous carbonaceous materials with many large holes. This will enlarge the area exposed to air 20 times. When in contact with air, it will start absorbing harmful gas molecules. It can absorb large-molecule organic gases like benzene, small-molecule gas pollutants like hydrogen sulphide and formaldehyde, and odours
• HEPA Filter
Composed of a mat of fine fibres, this layer has tiny holes and high absorption capacity. The HEPA filter is effective in removing particles and efficient in purifying. It can remove 99.7% of particles with a diameter equal to or greater than 0.3 µm and 99% of fine particles with a diameter of 2.5 μm (PM2.5), and filter out particles that are 100 times smaller than PM2.5.
