With a 3/4 size body and open-pore finish, the Principante Classic is a fine example. The scaled down body, crafted from sapele with a spruce soundboard, allows a child to comfortably reach the easy-to-play neck profile and fretboard without straining.
Needless to say, whilst this is a smaller instrument, the Santos Martinez attention to detail remains. Features include black bindings, a capped heal, detailed rosette inlay, profile-contoured capped headstock and chrome-plated machine heads with white buttons.
The natural satin open-pore finish, allows the spruce soundboard to vibrate freely, delivering a rich, warm sound, with a balance volume and projection.
